Striped Bass Outing: $250 for 3 hour outing

School of Fish is offering shore based outings for Striped Bass on the Northumberland Strait. Striped bass on the Northumberland are smaller than those fish typically found in the Bay of Fundy however, because of the clear water in the Northumberland these fish can be targetted using lures, with lighter tackle than what is required to deal with the Bay of Fundy tides. School of Fish outings will be using medium heavy rods and saltwater lures to target schooling fish that average 17 to 23″ in length. Striped bass on the Northumberland can be kept when they are between 50 to 65 cms (19.5 to 25″), and slot limit fish are common in many areas. Keeper sized striped bass are typically targeted at dawn and dusk and rely on specific tide times however, targetable populations of striped bass are available on all tides and all times of the day.

All School of Fish trips are dependant on weather conditions, especially winds. School of Fish will postpone any trip on days where wind and weather conditions prohibit a comfortable, safe, and successful fishing day. Safety is always the priority for all guests.
